WhaleSENSE
We intentionally use our time with you to share the importance and intent behind the WhaleSENSE program. We also understand that the most effective way is to lead by example paired with education. You will experience and witness both. Remember we are entering the natural habitat of a protected species and our job is to minimize our vessels impact on their natural behaviors. Whales are magnificent creatures with predicably unpredictable behaviors. This keeps our captains on high alert; making critical moment to moment decisions. Protecting whales and understanding why they are so important to our marine ecosystem and the planet are just a few details you will learn. Tag along with us for more!

Lost or Damaged Items
JWT is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items. Keep them safely in your zippered pockets or on a tether.
What to Wear
We operate in all weather conditions. Please consider warm layers of clothing with an outer layer that is waterproof. Comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be issued for cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled date of your tour.
Inclemate Weather
Your safety is our top priority. If we should need to cancel, due to weather, you will be offered an alternate date/time or a full refund.
Minimum Passenger
In order to reduce our environmental impact, a minimum of 8 participants is needed to operate a tour. We will offer other options or issue a full refund.
Check-In
Downtown/Tram Location: 15 mins prior to tour START time.
Statter Harbor in Auke Bay: 15 mins AFTER tour start time.
AJ Dock Instructions
PLAN EXTRA TIME!
AJ Dock is 1 mile away from the Tram, please use the dedicated bus outside your ship for transportation. We Do Not Pick Up from AJ Dock.
Accessibility
Folding wheelchairs are ok.
Folding walkers are ok.
All scooters must be left on land and stowed at your own risk.

We build our daily schedule based on your ship schedules and take all aboard times very seriously. Call if you have concerns.
